Our Story: From the Racetrack to the Headless Guitar Bridge
Let me tell you the story of how I came to establish a company that manufactures guitar bridges.
Before founding RIVIERA Srl, I was a technician in Motorsport. I worked in Formula 1 and spent ten years with Ducati MotoGP, where I followed the World Championship races as a technical specialist.
It was during this period, while admiring and working on all the technology applied to a racing machine, that I was inspired to create an innovative tuning system for guitars.
At one point, I decided to build my first headless guitar, but the tuning mechanisms available on the market were too bulky and detracted from the instrument’s design. While it’s true that performance is what truly matters, the aesthetic appeal holds great significance for me personally. To put it simply: if an instrument isn’t beautiful, I don’t feel inspired to play it.
I began making the initial prototypes and eventually finalized the product. Without overthinking it, I filed the patent and design registrations, set up the production, and launched this new adventure.
We are now a close-knit team based in Rimini, Italy.
